Ourania
Mourta lives and works in London. She is currently a postgraduate student
at Central Saint Martins studying 3D Character Animation graduating in June
2011. She studied painting and sculpture at the Athens Academy of Fine Art from
2002 to 2008 gaining a high distinction and also stop-motion animation where
she received her Masters in Visual Arts: Fine Art at Camberwell College of
Arts, University of the Arts of London (2009-2010) . She received scholarship
awards for excellent performance from the Hellenic Scholarships Foundation
(I.K.Y) every year from 2003 to 2008. Furthermore, she has participated in many
group exhibitions, projects, residencies and students' Biennales (Canada,
Belgium, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, Greece,Spain). Several of her art
pieces are held in private collections worldwide.
