“ Mutated Pets_The Genetic Evolution Has Begun...” is the title of my progressive final project.
It will be a combination of media. An installation which consists of many sculptures and stop-motion animation movies. It will be a “pink and gold” environment by foam , plaster, canvas and video-projections or monitor-s.
My plan is to create a landscape in a pink room (by 3 or 4 walls) trying to construct a “gold” organic cave (life size) from my gold foam sculptures and the other creatures.
The “gold” cave will symbolize the female uterus and the birth when people will come from the light pink and gold environment watching a stop-motion animation movie about the mutated little creatures. The complex biomorphic sculptures will depict biomasses from alien creatures with a strong reference to teratogenicity and mutation that is expressed through a combination of pop and baroque touches.
1) Pink room: 3 or 4 walls and floor space painted pink
2) Cave: (life size) outside bright gold organic surface, inside semi-dark gold environment, T.V screen , plynth, lighting from videos.
3) Sculptures: inside and outside of cave, 4 or 5 gold mutated pets sitting at massive pink foam “mountains” also several miniatures clay puppets (installation).
Do you have any other specific requests? e.g. power supply, a corner, floor space, darkened
1) A separated room/space by 3 at least walls or 4.
2) Allow me to paint the walls and the floor space with pink acrylic.
3) Power supply, 1 big or 3 medium (T.V) monitors or a video projector and a DVD player .
4) A plynth for the monitor.
